Jokowi And Surya Paloh Driving To Tinjau Plaza Ceremony IKN

PENAJAM - President Joko Widodo together with the General Chair of the NasDem Party, Surya Paloh, drove a booster car from the Garuda Palace to the Plaza Ceremony, the capital city of Nusantara (IKN), East Kalimantan.

The momentum took place after a series of Ceremonies for the Proclamation of Independence and the raising of the flag of Sang Saka Merah Putih in the context of the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia in the courtyard of the State Palace of IKN.

President Jokowi was seen wearing a white long-sleeved shirt and black pants sitting side by side with Surya Paloh dressed all black in the driver's middle seat.

They were seen crossing Jalan Utama, the office complex of the IKN Coordinating Ministry, greeted by the surrounding community.

"Pak Jokowi, take a photo, sir. Stop by, sir," shouted one resident who was enthusiastic to see President Jokowi and Surya Paloh passing in front of him.

The two of them seemed to wave and greet residents with tight supervision from a number of Presidential Security Forces (Paspampres) who ran on the side of the car.

Previously, Surya Paloh and President Jokowi appeared to be heading to the Garuda IKN Palace after attending the Proclamation of Independence Ceremony and raising the flag of Sang Saka Merah Putih.

They were inside the Garuda Palace for approximately an hour with a number of ministers in the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet.
