Puan Maharani's Story At IKN: Last Night Sleeping Well
JAKARTA - The Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Puan Maharani, recounted the moment she spent the night in the capital city of Nusantara, Kalimantan ahead of the ceremony of the 79th Indonesian Independence Day today, Saturday, August 17. He said he slept well at the Minister's Office (RTJM).
"Last night I slept here, Alhamdulillah, everything was good, although not perfect, but I slept well last night. The house was ok," said Puan, quoted from her written statement, Saturday, August 17.
Puan said the housing facilities were also very good. Moreover, there is a smart home feature that facilitates household activities, such as turning on lights, closing and opening windows, turning on television, setting air temperature, and locking the door or door lock system in a one touch button.
The RTJM has two floors and a basement with 9 rooms and 3 bathrooms. On the 1st floor there is one bathroom with an inside bathroom, the 2nd floor has 3 rooms with 1 main room with a bathroom inside.
While the other 5 rooms are in the basement. The design of this house was made to be able to follow the conditions of contoured topography such as at the IKN location.

Furthermore, this RTJM has an area of 736 square meters and is connected to the command center. This is done to maintain and ensure the safety and security of residents.
"I appreciate the Ministry of PUPR for building landed houses with attractive designs and advanced technology," he said.
"Thank God everything is good, although there is still a lot that needs to be repaired, but I am sure that later it will be ready soon, the houses in IKN," concluded the chairman of the PDIP DPP.
