ASDP President Director Ira Puspadewi Becomes A Corruption Suspect Acquisition Of PT Jembatan Nusantara

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has named four suspects for alleged corruption in business cooperation (KSU) and the acquisition of PT Jembatan Nusantara by PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry. The determination was made on Friday, August 16 yesterday.

"As of August 16, 2024, the KPK has named four suspects related to alleged corruption in the business cooperation (KSU) process and the acquisition of PT Jembatan Nusantara by PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) in 2019-2022," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika to reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Saturday, August 17.

Tessa mengatakan empat orang yang ditetapkan sebagai tersangka berinsial IP, MYH, HMAC, dan A. Tiga orang di antaranya merupakan penyelenggara negara sedangkan sisanya adalah swasta.

Meanwhile, based on information obtained by VOI, the three people appointed are directors of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero). They are Ira Puspadewi who is the president director; Harry MAC as planning and development director; and Yusuf Hadi who is the commercial and service director.

For the private sector with the initials A, Adjie is the owner of PT Jembatan Nusantara.

Previously reported, the KPK is currently investigating cases of corruption in business cooperation (KSU) and the acquisition of PT Jembatan Nusantara by PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero). It is suspected that there has been a state loss which allegedly reached Rp1.27 trillion and is still changing because the calculation continues.

A VOI source said this loss arose because the acquisition process for PT Jembatan Nusantara did not comply with the regulations. Reporting from a number of reports, PT ASDP purchased PT Jembatan Nusantara in February 2022 with a value of IDR 1.3 trillion.

This state-owned company then controlled 100 percent of PT Jembatan Nusantara shares with 53 ships under management. "The process (in carrying out business cooperation and acquisition, ed) has no legal basis," he said.

"So all acquisition rules are violated," is still quoted from the same source.

In this case, the anti-corruption commission has also asked the Directorate General of Immigration of the Ministry of Law (Kemenkumham) to prevent four people from leaving the country. The details, namely HMAC, MYH, IP, and one other party is the private sector, A.
