6 People Killed In Israeli Attacks In Lebanon

Six people were killed and three others injured in an Israeli attack on a residential building in the city of Nabatieh, southern Lebanon on Saturday, August 17 morning.

There have been no detailed reports of this Israeli attack. Tensions have risen in the region in recent weeks, following the deadly rocket attack on Israel's occupied Golan Heights, which Hezbollah said.

Israel retaliated with the assassination of an important commander of Hezbollah on the outskirts of Beirut.

Hezbollah also vowed to retaliate against Israel, as was Iran, for the assassination of Palestinian Hamas group political leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran.
