KPK Opportunity To Summon Erick Thohir Regarding Allegations Of Corruption Acquisition Of PT Jembatan Nusantara By ASDP
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said the opportunity to summon SOE Minister Erick Thohir regarding the corruption case in the acquisition of PT Jembatan Nusantara by PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) was open. He could be questioned as a shareholder.
"If it is related to whether the Minister of SOEs will be summoned..., if investigators find evidence or information needed to clarify all witnesses, the witness will be summoned," said KPK Spokesperson Tessa Mahardika to reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Friday, August 16.
Tessa ensured that the summons was aimed at investigating corruption cases in the state-owned company. "This applies to all witnesses not only in certain persons," he said.
"(We, ed) do not see the position, do not see anyone. If the need is in order to strengthen the elements of the case being handled, all witnesses suspected of being involved and needed their statements will be summoned," continued the spokesman with the investigator's background.
Previously reported, the KPK is currently investigating cases of corruption in business cooperation (KSU) and the acquisition of PT Jembatan Nusantara by PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero). It is suspected that there has been a state loss which allegedly reached Rp1.27 trillion and is still changing because the calculation continues.

A VOI source said this loss arose because the acquisition process for PT Jembatan Nusantara did not comply with the regulations. Reporting from a number of reports, PT ASDP purchased PT Jembatan Nusantara in February 2022 with a value of IDR 1.3 trillion.
This state-owned company then controlled 100 percent of PT Jembatan Nusantara shares with 53 ships under management. "The process (in carrying out business cooperation and acquisition, ed) has no legal basis," he said.
"So all acquisition rules are violated," is still quoted from the same source.
In this case, the anti-corruption commission has also asked the Directorate General of Immigration of the Ministry of Law (Kemenkumham) to prevent four people from leaving the country. The details, namely HMAC, MYH, IP, and one other party is the private sector, A.
