SEA V League 2024 Results: Indonesia Loses 0-3 Against Thailand
JAKARTA The Indonesian Men's Volleyball national team immediately lost in the inaugural match in the 2024 SEA V League First Series against Thailand.
The Garuda squad was forced to surrender with a landslide score of 0-3 (21-25, 23-25, and 20-25) in the match which took place at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium, Santa Rosa, Philippines, Friday, August 16, 2024, evening WIB.
Indonesia, which is present as the defending champion, made a lot of mistakes in the first set so that the opposing team easily produced numbers after numbers.
These mistakes made coach Li Qiujiang's side only take one point from the first seven points in the opening set and continue to lag behind after.

In the second set, Indonesia can provide a little resistance. As a result, Dio Zulfikri and his friends had outperformed the opponent and were tight in the final points.
The game from Dio and his colleagues at the beginning of the third set was shaky. However, they were able to rise up and catch up and had time to lead the White Elephant team.
However, Thailand did not want to miss a set to end the match faster. They also got up and started chasing until they locked the win with a difference of five points.
Indonesia still has two more matches after this. They will face the Philippines and Vietnam in the next two matches, Saturday, August 17 and Sunday, August 18, 2024.
