Criminal Rate In Brazil Is High, Toyota Offers Armored Options For Four Vehicles

JAKARTA - Recently, Toyota offered unusual things for its customers in Brazil, namely presenting armored options on the Corolla car.

Launching from Carscoops, Friday, August 16, this is the result of a collaboration between manufacturers with local armored partners Avallon, Carbon, Evolution Blindagents, and Parvi Blindados. Not only on new vehicles, this option can be obtained in used cars.

Interested customers can contact the local Toyota dealer so that their vehicle is sent to their preferred armored company.

Apart from Corolla, the models included in this option are the Corolla Cross SUV, the Hilux pickup, and the SW4 SUV (in other markets referred to as Fortuner). The same applies to used cars during their age not older than the 2020 model and underwent an earlier assessment at Toyota dealers.

This armored company strengthens the bodywork with special compounds and installs thicker windows, making the vehicle safer in the event of an unexpected attack.

The report said that armored forces embedded in a number of Toyota models could withstand bullets from small firearms and other weapons such as bats or metal pipes.

Although the offer is quite tempting, the price for the option is still unknown. The company provides a 5-year warranty for the installation of a 5 or 10-year shield and warranty for the material, depending on its specific components.

The presence of this option is not without reason considering that Brazil is one of the highest criminal-level countries. Last year, the number of killings in the land of Samba reached 39,500 cases.

With this option, it makes vehicle users even safer in protecting themselves from the threat of violence that continues to occur in the country.
