Samsung Will Launch Circle To Search In Galaxy A And Tab S9 FE Series

JAKARTA Circle to Search, a Google-made object search feature, was originally designed for flagship phones such as the Samsung Galaxy S24 and Pixel 8. However, in the near future, this feature will be present on mid-range phones.

Samsung announced that the Circle to Search feature will be extended to the Galaxy A series, including the Galaxy A55, Galaxy A54, Galaxy A35, and Galaxy A34. This feature will also be launched into two series of FE tablets, namely the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus.

Especially in the Galaxy Tab S9 FE series, users can circle objects with their hands or stylus pen. In these two ways, users will get easier, transformative, and surpass Google Lens search methods.

TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile EXperience Business at Samsung Electronics, said that the expansion of this feature is part of the company's commitment. Samsung strives to bring the latest technology to more Galaxy users.

"We are dedicated to bringing the best AI technology in class to a wider audience, empowering users with the option to work more efficiently, creating more freely, and enjoying richer interactions," explained TM Roh.

Recently, Circle to Search has increased. Previously, this feature was limited to object search, but now users can translate a full page and scan the QR code using Circle to Search.

Although the feature is almost similar to Google Lens, Circle to Search can be used without changing apps. Users only need to circle, highlight, or tap objects, text, or videos that appear on the screen. After that, Google Search will display relevant results.
