Promotor Escapes, Two Music Festivals In Bali Forced To Be Postponed

JAKARTA - Two music events at Bali, Forever Young Festival and Playground Festival, had to be postponed due to the irresponsible promoter's actions.

This was revealed by Megatix Indonesia as a ticket seller and Locca Sea House as the location of the concert. The two of them made a joint public statement uploaded on the ticket purchase page.

It was stated that Thomas Alfa Bernard of Thom Entertainment as the promoter, was irresponsiblely suspected of escaping after the discovery of the problem.

"After being contacted by the Ice Cube management team (which is scheduled to appear at the Playground Festival), we learned that they were not aware of the show's schedule and asked us to immediately remove all pages featuring the Ice Cube brand," the statement read.

The next attempt to contact Thomas, the promoter who was responsible for organizing this event, was unsuccessful. Thomas could no longer be contacted.

Due to the problems that occurred, Megatix Indonesia and the Locca Sea House have spoken with the parties involved, and are trying to keep the two festivals being held.

We have also spoken with all the artists and agents involved, and they are committed to continuing to host performances in Bali. Although this will take some time to arrange it, anyone who has a ticket for Thomas' event will receive a ticket for a new event once we can complete the arrangement."

"If you or someone you know is also affected by Thom's actions, we urge you to contact us so we can help convey this matter to the authorities. You can do it in support of @megatix.co.id."

Meanwhile, ticket sales on the Megatix site can no longer be done for the Forever Young Festival and the Playground Festival. There is information that the two festivals were postponed.

We fully understand how disappointing and frustrating this news is for those who have bought tickets and are looking forward to this event. Rest assured that Megatix and Locca Sea House are taking this issue very seriously. We are committed to continuing to let you know as we continue the legal process."

"Meanwhile, we ask for your understanding and patience as we address these challenging circumstances. We will provide the latest information as soon as further information is available."
