Kia Announces K4 Prices In The US, Starting To Be Sold In September
JAKARTA - Kia introduced the latest K4 sedan last March at the 2024 New York International Auto Show. The model offers a sporty design, but does not leave an impressive performance aspect.
Now, this brand from South Korea has expressed its price and will be offered in five different variants, namely LX, LXS, EX, GT-Line, and GT-Line Turbo.
Quoting from Kia's official website, Thursday, August 14, this K4 is sold starting from 21,990 US dollars (Rp343.2 million) on the basic to the most expensive variant of 28,090 US dollars (Rp438.4 million). This price certainly does not include the shipping costs of 1,155 US dollars (Rp18 million).
Carrying the philosophy of the trademark 'Opposites United' design coupled to the pillars of 'Power to Progress', the exterior of the K4 compact sedan symbolizes Kia's unrelenting determination to create the most inspiring, innovative, and aesthetic mobility solutions.
The manufacturer presents this sedan with a wide sepabor giving a rigid and tough impression. Then, there are the headlights that have vertical elements resembling the Kia Niro or Grand Carnival model.
Furthermore, the shape of the grip looks more integrated with the long-looking engine hood. Turning to the back, K4 has a rear light almost wide with a vertical impression similar to the front light.
Meanwhile, the sides are equipped with 18-inch alloy-sized rims, trim windows, glossy black rear rear rear rear mirrors, and sporty black accents.

Then, the interior is equipped with digital instruments as a standard. The display has a combined size of nearly 30 inches supported by the operation of Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) with over-the-air (OTA) capabilities. Not to forget, this system is also compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless standards.
The sound assistant function is also present as standard. By simply saying Hi Kia, users can adjust the cabin consisting of changes in temperature and audio.
Driver assistant systems (ADAS) also exist in these vehicles, including Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go (SCC w / S&G), Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance Assist (FCA-BCA), and Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM) as standard.
In terms of performance, Kia K4 is offered in two powertrain options. The first is a 2.0 liter machine that produces 147 dk and a 179 Nm torque combined with the IVT dental transfer system as standard.
The second option is a 1.6 liter machine that produces 190 dk of power and a 264 Nm of torque is married to an eight automatic acceleration transmission.
Kia confirmed K4 will arrive at the retail network in the US in September, followed by the GT-Line variant in November 2024 and GT-Line Turbo which is expected to arrive in early 2025.
