Denies Suicide Triggered By Bullying, Undip Says Semarang Young Doctor Has Health Problems

SEMARANG - Diponegoro University (Undip) Semarang denied AR's death, a student of the Specialist Doctors Education Program of the Faculty of Medicine who allegedly committed suicide due to bullying."Based on the results of our internal investigations, this is not true," said Undip Semarang Integrated Service Manager, Utami Setyowati when delivering a written response from the Undip Chancellor in Semarang, quoted from Antara, Thursday, August 15.According to him, the deceased was a student who was dedicated to her work.However, he continued, the deceased had health problems that affected the learning process she was taking.However, he said, Undip could not explain the details of the health problems experienced by the victims.He said that his student had considered resigning due to this condition."But the deceased refused because administratively he was bound by the provisions of the scholarship recipients," he said.However, Undip is very open to other facts other than the results of the investigations that have been carried out."Undip is ready to coordinate with any party to follow up on educational goals by implementing 'zero bullying' at the Faculty of Medicine," he said.Previously, a student of the Specialist Doctors Education Program at the Faculty of Medicine, Undip Semarang, died allegedly of committing suicide at his boarding house on Lempongsari Street, Semarang City, Central Java.
The death of the victim with the initials AR whose body was found on Monday, August 12, is suspected to be related to bullying where he studied.
