Megawati Says There Is An Effort To Take Over PDIP, Hasto: Disturbing Faces With All Cadres
Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto agreed with the statement of PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri who received the report that there were efforts by certain parties to take over PDIP from her leadership.
Hasto emphasized that if these efforts were made, all cadres would move to defend the PDIP from Megawati. According to him, all party cadres bearing the bull logo are loyal and militant members of the integrity of their party.
"We emphasize that we should not disturb the daughter of the proclaimer to uphold the truth in this country that builds democracy in this republic. If something interferes, it will deal with all cadres," said Hasto at the PDIP DPP office, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, August 14.
Holding the term, there was no smoke without fire, Megawati's statement was explained by Hasto as an affirmation that PDIP would not allow anyone to interfere with party sovereignty.
So, according to him, when there are still those who interfere with party sovereignty, especially Megawati's position as a leader, all ranks will move to maintain the party's dignity, starting from the central, regional, and branch levels.
"When the person who previously had all his requests were fulfilled, but then the law was used as a tool to force someone to resign, that was what Megawati Soekarno Putri received her report, we cannot allow these things," said Hasto.
