Trump Calls Biden A 'coup' From The US Presidential Election

JAKARTA - Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said President Joe Biden was forced to withdraw from the presidential election.

Trump claimed to have defeated Biden in a debate late last June, until Biden was forced to withdraw from the presidential election. He called Biden's resignation a "coup".

"This is a coup of the president of the United States. He doesn't want to leave, but they say, 'We can do it in a good way, or we can do it in a difficult way,'" Trump said in an interview with America's famous entrepreneur and innovator, Elon Musk, which was broadcast live on social media. X reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, August 13.

Trump admits he is not a fan of Biden and calls the Democratic Party's figure "the worst president in history".

Trump said Vice President Kamala Harris, who replaced Biden as a Democratic presidential candidate, was also incompetent.

Last month, Biden announced his resignation from the 2024 presidential election and his support for Harris to become a Democratic Party presidential candidate.

The announcement came after increasing pressure from Democrats with a number of people at the US Congress issued public calls for Biden to step down, given his poor performance in the debate against Trump.
