Kejari Implements Restorative Justice Cases Of Children Threatening To Kill Mothers With Machetes In Lubuklinggau
PALEMBANG - The Lubuklinggau District Attorney's Office has restored justice cases of unpleasant acts committed by children to their biological mothers.Head of the Intelligence Section of the Lubuklinggau Kejari, Wenharnol, explained that his party made restorative justice efforts against the threat case carried out by FM against his mother on May 15, 2024.The suspect threatened his mother because she was annoyed that when she borrowed her father's motorbike to meet his wife at his in-laws' house, she was not allowed. The victim's mother was afraid that the motorbike would be sold by FM."The suspect FM was angry and entered his room. After his father went to the rice fields, the suspect immediately took a sharp machete and pointed it up while threatening to kill the victim," he explained in Lubuklinggau, Antara, Monday, August 12.The victim immediately closed the door on the front of the house and met witness Oktaria and advised her to contact her husband and asked to go home immediately and advise the suspect.The victim also reported to the South Lubuklinggau Police so that an arrest could be made immediately and take action."The actions of the suspect are as regulated and subject to criminal penalties in Article 335 Paragraph (1) Ke–1 of the Criminal Code," he said.The termination of the prosecution was approved by the young Attorney General for general crimes based on the results of an expository carried out by the general criminal field of the Lubuklinggau District Attorney and the South Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office.
