From the names that previously fought in Malaysia, only Cliffton Wijaya could not continue in preparation for Jordan. His position was replaced by Richie Bertrand Linardi.
The manager of the U-18 Indonesian National Team, Murni Setionegoro, said that Cliffton could not join the team because it coincided with his study program in China Taipei (Taiwan).
"Cliffton is one of the most important players in this team, but we also understand that study is also important for the future of players. Therefore, we understand Cliffton's reasons and replace him with Richie," Murni said.
Richie had previously participated in the preparation team training camp towards the FIBA U-18 Asia Cup SEABA Qualifiers in Malaysia. However, he ended up unable to participate in the struggle due to problems with his feet.
Murni said that at this timeoo's fitness condition had improved so she also got another chance to defend Indonesia in Jordan.
"We recall the player who performed at the SEABA Qualifiers yesterday and qualified for the FIBA U-18 Asia Cup 2024 Jordan because our program is sustainable, which is to continue the preparations that have been made at SEABA and then continue to Asia," said Murni.
