Indonesian Volleyball Team Without Victory In SEA V League Putri 2024
JAKARTA The Indonesian Women's Volleyball national team failed to secure a single win from six matches which took place in the two 2024 SEA V League series.
The latest defeat was felt by Megawati Hanggetri Pertiwi and her friends against the Philippines on Sunday, August 11, 2024. In the match which took place at Chachai Hall, Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, Indonesia was beaten by a score of 2-3 (25-20, 20-25, 25-16, 20-25, 10-15).
This is Indonesia's third defeat in three matches in the Second Series. Previously, last week in the First Series in Vietnam, Indonesia also did not win a single match from the three matches played.
The coach of the Indonesian Women's Volleyball National Team, Chamnan Dokmai, considered that his team played better when compared to the First Series. However, the troops were less confident.

"In fact, they can actually. Indonesian players must participate in international competitions more often so they can be confident," said the Thai tactician.
In the match against the Philippines, Indonesia's opportunity to win its first victory in the event was already open when it was 2-1.
However, the Philippines was then able to rise and dominate the next two sets. In determining, Indonesia continues to lag behind in collecting points.
While in the highest position, Chamnan fielded Junadia Santi's young player to replace Arsela Nuari. The 17-year-old player looked charming with his smashes, but was weak at the receiver so he was questioned by the opponent's service.
Chamnan said that the experience of appearing abroad will be very useful for the mental development of his foster children.
"Competitions at home and abroad are very different, both in the atmosphere of the audience and in the match," said Chamnan, who escorted Jakarta Electric PLN, through the 2024 Proliga Grand Final.
In the First Series match in Vietnam, the Indonesian Women's Volleyball National Team was recorded as only securing a set when they lost 1-3 against the Philippines in the last match.
Meanwhile, before playing tight against the Philippines in the last match of the Second Series, Indonesia had stolen a set of wins when they met Vientnam in the first match.
