Regarding Hybrid Staria For Foreign Markets, Hyundai Calls It Still Exclusive For South Korea
JAKARTA - Staria Hybrid and Staria Load Hybrid are available exclusively to the South Korean market. This low-emission MPV was introduced in February and opened a pre-order period at the market.
Hyundai also plans to increase sales of hybrid vehicles in several markets, one of which is Australia. However, manufacturers do not yet have plans to include models such as Staria Hybrid in the country's market.
Hyundai Australia Product Manager Sam Dabestani, said that this MPV would be a reasonable choice for the Australian market, but its driving system was not available to the country.
"We are always looking for additional or improvements to what we can do to our line of products in order to better meet the needs of our customers. The addition of hybrid cars to Staria ranks is of course included in that category," said Dabesani, quoted from CarExpert, Monday, August 12.

The Hyundai Staria Hybrid in South Korea is equipped with a 1.6 liter turbo engine connected to an electric motor, producing a combined power of 242 dk, much more powerful than the 2.2 liter turbodiesel version.
The manufacturer with the 'H' lopsided logo claims that the car has fuel efficiency of up to 7.7L/100 km or much better than the turbo-diesel reaching 8.2L/100 km.
This car has the same design language as any other variant. However, the difference is from the diesel version, Hyundai gave him an 18-inch rim instead of 17 Inci and the hybrid badge was presented.
Meanwhile, manufacturers also maintain designs from the interior as well as instrument clusters and infotainment that look the same as others. However, what distinguishes it is that there are graphics and displays from the screen that show battery status and powertrain monitoring for this type.
Just like the standard variant, the Staria Hybrid has a choice of configuration of nine or eleven seats, so it can accommodate many passengers for long trips.
For the price, Staria Hybrid is sold from 34.3 million won (IDR 400.6 million). The hybrid version is only offered on Modern trim or the highest in the market.
