Alasan Jusuf Hamka Mundur Dari Golkar: Sudah Sepuh, Ingin Jadi Pekerja Sosial Keikuti Bunda Berhitung
JAKARTA - Toll road entrepreneur Jusuf Hamka, alias Babah Alun, resigned as administrator and cadre of the Golkar Party, shortly after Airlangga Hartarto resigned as General Chair of the Golkar Party.
Jusuf admitted that he resigned as a cadre of the Beringin Party because he felt he was old. He admitted that he wanted to become a social worker following in the footsteps of a Catholic actress who was concerned in the humanitarian field.
"Dear Golkar Party DPP leader, I Jusuf Hamka want to submit my resignation as a board member of the Golkar Party DPP," said Jusuf Hamka in his resignation statement, Monday, August 12.
"As for my reasons, firstly my age was Sepuh. Second, the advice from my wife and children," he continued.
Third, Jusuf Hamka said he would continue the Babah Alun mosque program in 38 provinces.
"Four, returning to my dreams of returning to my dreams as a social worker to follow Mother fire," said Jusuf Hamka.

Babah Alun officially submitted his resignation letter as a Golkar cadre to the Golkar DPP today. The letter will be given directly to the Secretary General of Golkar, LodewijkFPaulus.
