Arema FC is eyeing the first three points when they host Dewa United's visitors in the first week of the 2024/2025 Liga 1 season which will be held at Soepriadi Stadium, Blitar City, East Java, Monday (12/8) at 15.30 WIB.
Arema FC coach Joel Cornelli in a press conference session in Blitar City on Sunday said the success of winning the 2024 Presidential Cup was a motivation for the players to present Aremania's victory.
"Extraordinary preparations, players are more confident after winning the President's Cup yesterday. We have thought about efforts to win," Joel said as quoted by Antara.
Victory against Dewa United is a target that must be realized. Because it will be a trigger for all players to bring the team nicknamed Singo Edan back to become the top team in the League 1 competition.

Joel added that last season's experience, where Arema FC almost fell caste into Liga 2 should not be repeated. This helped increase the spirit of his foster children.
