Telecommunications Sector Becomes Cyber Attack Target, This Is A Step That Must Be Taken

JAKARTA - A report recently released by cybersecurity firm Kaspersky states that telecommunications companies are the sector with the highest cyber attack targets.

Not only that, other companies such as mass media, and construction development are also often the top cyberattack targets in the first half of 2024.

However, Kaspersky globally saw a decline in cyber threats, compared to 2021-2022.

The increasing threat landscape in 2021-2022 has led to increased cybersecurity concerns in companies and entities in various fields, resulting in higher level of security as organizations learn from past experiences, said Kaspersky Chief Managed Detection and Response Sergey Soldatov.
