Ariel Tatum Intensive Exercises For The Flower Bale

JAKARTA - Ariel Tatum's monologist show with the title Sang Kembang Bale was held at NuArt Sculpture Park, Bandung for two days, 10 and 11 August.

VOI had the opportunity to witness a media preview session which was held on Friday, August 9 evening.

Ariel Tatum shows a combination of narratives, songs, and dances that are performed well on the open stage that blends with nature.

The 27-year-old actor admitted that he had to undergo intensive training to show this monologous, especially since he had to recite Sundanese language and singing style which was quite foreign to him.

"The process of reciting the script, memorizing songs, learning Sundanese, and dancing that already has a standard, we practice it all for five weeks," said Ariel Tatum after undergoing a media preview session.

Outside of personal training, Ariel had to train intensively with the team three times a week.

Each session is held for about six to eight hours, by practicing dialogue, singing, and dancing.

"The difficulty is that all the songs that are sung are typical Sundanese cloves, where I am very not used to it, it's very new to study and there is a standard," said Ariel.

For Ariel, this show is special, considering that this is his first monologue. He feels grateful to Titimanangsa for giving him the trust.

"I am very grateful and grateful that the Flower Bale was entrusted to be my first monologue," he said.

Meanwhile, Sang Kembang Bale tells the story of the life of an ronggeng (Kembang Bale) in Panyutran, a village in Padaherang, Pangandaran.

A Bale Flower was born from the pain of his childhood. Entering adolescence, he was chosen by the senior mountain gang to be the successor as a truelongg.

Poverty that encourages him to enter the world of eggng. But the world he enters is getting more and more interesting to understand how an egg should behave.
