4 Indicators Of The Implementation Of The Success Pilkada In The Style Of The Ministry Of Home Affairs
JAKARTA - There are four indicators that the implementation of the 2024 Simultaneous Pilkada is considered successful. This was conveyed by Plh. Director General of Politics and General Government of the Ministry of Home Affairs Togap Simangunsong while directly reviewing the readiness of the regional elections in South Papua, Friday, August 9.
"Among them are safe and smooth, high voter participation, no conflict that damages the unity and integrity of the nation, and the wheels of government continue to run smoothly," said Togap, quoted from ANTARA.
In addition, he emphasized the importance of local governments (Pemda) ensuring that various supports are met, especially regarding budget needs.
This is related to the readiness of regional election organizers in the area. Not only that, local governments and other related parties need to pay attention to conflict vulnerabilities so that they can be prevented.
Meanwhile, Acting Governor of South Papua Rudy Sufahriadi said the need for synergy from various parties so that the implementation of the 2024 Simultaneous Pilkada runs smoothly and safely.
"We need to strengthen the synergy and collaboration of the government, election organizers, the TNI/Polri so that the Simultaneous Pilkada in South Papua runs successfully. In addition, it is necessary to immediately identify the possibility of conflict that could disrupt the Pilkada," explained Rudy.
The meeting was then closed with the signing of the 2024 Peace Pilkada Declaration in South Papua Province.
