Hybrid Car Incentives Canceled, This Is What Suzuki Indonesia Says

JAKARTA - The government has canceled providing incentives for vehicles in the hybrid segment this year.

Responding to this, Strategic Planning Dept. Head of PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS), Joshi Prasetya admitted that he followed the government's decision.

"Yes, we continue to support any form of government policy," Joshi Prasetya told the media crew in Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, August 10.

Although the incentives are canceled for hybrid vehicles in Indonesia, PT SIS will continue to present these vehicles to their loyal consumers.

The reason is, according to him, hybrid segment vehicles are no less important in contributing to national automotive sales. In addition, this vehicle also contributes to suppressing the pollution that exists today.

"If we do, give a vehicle choice that is in accordance with the needs and specifications as a means of transportation that is in accordance with the wishes of consumers and the government for matters in preventing pollution," he said.

Thus, it is not surprising that the hybrid vehicle presented by Suzuki received a good welcome because it has a fairly affordable price and also a more efficient maintenance.
