Israeli Attack During Fajr Prayer Kills 100 Refugees At Gaza School

JAKARTA - A school crowded with 100 refugees in the Gaza Strip, Palestine, Saturday, was destroyed by Israeli airstrikes and killed all its contents.

The airstrike by Israel, according to Al Jazeera's report, and quoted from ANTARA, Saturday, August 10, occurred at a school in the Daraj area, eastern Gaza City, approximately during Fajr prayer.

Hundreds of Palestinians who fled the school were also injured in the Israeli attack.

The Israeli side argued they launched the attack because the school was a "military headquarters" of the Palestinian resistance group, Hamas.

In response to the incident, the Palestinian information center stated that the Zionist regimes of Israel and the United States must be responsible for the horrific massacre.

The information agency also urged the international community to act and condemn Israel's brutal killings.

Apart from the school, a number of media also reported that at least 10 Palestinians also died in different Israeli airstrikes in the northern and central parts of the Gaza Strip on the same day.

Israel's relentless aggressiveness in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023 has left nearly 40,000 Palestinians dead.

The Israeli attack also destroyed 70 percent of other homes and infrastructure in Gaza, as well as caused a hunger disaster that threatened the lives of the Palestinian people who were still alive.
