For The Sake Of The August 17 Ceremony At IKN, BMKG Continues To Modify The Weather

JAKARTA - Ahead of the August 17, 2024 independence ceremony in the capital city of the archipelago (IKN), the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) continues to make weather modifications for the smooth running of events.

"Currently, BMKG is making weather modifications at IKN," said Acting Deputy for Weather Modification of BMKG Tri Handoko Seto when contacted from IKN, East Kalimantan, Saturday, as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, August 10.

Seto said that the weather modifications have been carried out since July 4, 2024, until now in order to reduce rain.

Weather modifications in addition to supporting the smooth implementation of the August 17 Proclamation Seconds ceremony at IKN, are also to help accelerate development development in the IKN area.

Based on observations, on Saturday the downstream activities of construction workers were still visible in the IKN area.

On Saturday, a duplicate of Sang Saka Merah Putih's Heritage Flag and a copy of the text of the Proclamation will also be estimated from Monas Jakarta to the IKN Presidential Palace.
