CdM Indonesia: 2 Gold Medals At The 2024 Olympics Evidence Of Improvement Of Sports Development Quality
JAKARTA - Chef de Mission (CdM) Indonesia, Anindya Bakrie, appreciates the achievement of two gold medals at the Indonesian contingent at the 2024 Paris Olympics. According to him, this achievement is proof of the widespread and increasing quality of sports coaching.
This was said by Anindya Bakrie because it was directly proportional to Indonesia's gold score, which this time was presented from sports instead of subscriptions.
Indonesia's first gold at the 2024 Paris Olympics was won by Veddriq Leonardo from the rock climbing sport number speed. While the second gold was presented by Rizki Juniansyah from the weightlifting sport.
"Of course this is a history. Why? One, for 32 years we have never received two golds. Moreover, two golds from different sports outside badminton," said Anindya Bakrie during an online press conference from Paris on Friday, August 9, 202, WIB night.
"So, it means that Indonesia for 32 years has expanded or strengthened the quality of the coaching of its sports," said Anindya.
On the same occasion, Anindya also appreciated the acquisition of Veddriq Leonardo in the rock climbing sport. You see, apart from being able to donate first gold to Indonesia, the time record is only 4.75 seconds in the final, this 27-year-old athlete has succeeded in solving history.
"Especially for rock climbing, we also get extraordinary achievements. This is the first time individuals have competed."
"So, I said, Veddriq is not only the world champion. Winning is not the only Olympic gold medal that is obtained, but the first person to ever get a medal for the fastest individual climbing speed in history. This will always be recorded," he said.
