Mandiri-Pelindo Collaborate To Strengthen Financial Services

JAKARTA - PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk collaborates with PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo) to provide financial services for service users, as well as Pelindo employees.

Bank Mandiri President Director Darmawan Junaidi explained that this collaboration is a continuation of the partnership that has existed for more than two decades between Bank Mandiri and Pelindo.

"Through this collaboration, we hope to provide the best financial support and banking services, as well as facilitate Pelindo's growth and success," he said in a written statement, Friday, August 9.

Darmawan said that under this collaboration, Bank Mandiri will provide digital-based financial services, such as Kopra by Mandiri and the Host to Host Auto Collection. Where this service aims to facilitate Pelindo transactions and its service users.

As for individual Pelindo employees and service users, continued Darmawan, Bank Mandiri provides Livin' by Mandiri which offers various conveniences and solutions in various banking transactions.

Darmawan said Bank Mandiri currently has a wide network of 2,190 branches throughout Indonesia, and has been able to provide banking services to more than 4,000 Pelindo port service users.

One of the leading innovations is the Port Community Card, a debit card used to pay for port services. As of June 2024, more than 590 cards have been issued to support banking transactions in the Pelindo ecosystem.

In addition, he continued, this collaboration is also through the Mandiri e-Money co-Branding Card, which functions as the Single Truck Identification Data (STID) Card for the identification of logistics vehicles at the port owned by Pelindo.

"The provision of the Mandiri e-Money co-Branding STID card is expected to make access to logistics operations easier, with 25,000 cards that have been issued to date," said Darmawan.

Darmawan hopes that this collaboration can also create added value for the two companies, as well as make a significant contribution to economic growth and infrastructure development in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, Pelindo President Director Arif Suhartono said that with this collaboration, it is hoped that the integration of ports and industrial estates can be maximally connected.

"Because we believe, this industry will create prosperity in real terms. Industrialization is local resources-based and is able to accelerate growth in all sectors," he said.
