Turkish Military Kills 12 Kurdish Militants In Iraq
JAKARTA - The Turkish military "rejected" 12 militant Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) banned in northern Iraq.
Turkey, which usually uses the term neutralization' which means being killed, carried out cross-border operations called Claw-Lock in Iraq as part of the country's attack on PKK militants, the Defense Ministry said.

The PKK, which has launched an uprising against the Turkish state since 1984, has been designated a terrorist organization by Turkey, the United States, and the European Union.
More than 40,000 people have died in the conflict.
