Eri Budiono Approved By OJK To Become President Director Of Neo Commerce Bank

JAKARTA - The Financial Services Authority (OJK) has officially approved the appointment of Eri Budiono as President Director of PT Bank Neo Commerce Tbk (Bank Neo Commerce/BNC).

The approval was conveyed through a copy of the Decree of the OJK Board of Commissioners on the Assessment of Ability and Proper Tests as well as the Deed of Statement of Inauguration of Meetings on Appointment of President Director of PT Bank Neo Commerce Tbk on August 9, 2024.

Eri said that his party hopes to bring BNC to become a digital-based bank that is increasingly becoming the choice of the community.

This is done by providing comfortable services, providing banking products that are safe to use, and most importantly making BNC one of the banks trusted by millions of Indonesians.

"It is an honor for me to be appointed and can officially serve at Neo Commerce Bank as President Director, BNC is one of the pioneers of a bank with digital services in Indonesia that has complete banking services and products. I have observed the growth and development of BNC from the start. Now, I have become part of the BNC extended family," said Eri quoting Antara.

Furthermore, Eri said, his party is committed to increasing BNC's competitiveness in its efforts to provide more optimal service to the community and improve the company's performance.

"In the future, it is hoped that BNC can continue to provide the best service, and ultimately increase the credibility of banks as banks with digital services which are the main choices of the community," said Eri.

Meanwhile, Bank Neo Commerce Business Director Aditya Windarwo believes that Eri is the right person to lead BNC is growing and growing even faster because he has more than 30 years of experience in the banking industry.

"Representing all Neobankers, I congratulate Mr. Eri Budiono," said Aditya.

Eri Budiono earned a bachelor's degree in banking and finance from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia.

He is a banker with experience in commercial banking at international and regional banks.

Eri has experience serving in the board of directors in leading banks such as Bank HSBC Indonesia, Bank Maybank Indonesia, and Bank Rabobank International Indonesia.

Previously, BNC shareholders had approved the appointment of Eri as the new BNC captain which was decided at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) in April 2024.

Changes in the management of the company's new composition are expected to strengthen the management structure of BNC. This change is also expected to improve the implementation of good governance, optimize the company's performance and make BNC a bank with the main choice of digital services for the Indonesian people.

Thus, the composition of the Directors of Neo Commerce Bank as of August 2024 is as follows:
