PKS: Most Likely Anies Failed To Advance As Cagub Jakarta 2024

JAKARTA - Deputy Secretary General of the PKS DPP, Zainudin Paru stated that Anies Baswedan most likely failed to run as a candidate for governor in the Jakarta Pilkada. The reason is, Anies has passed the deadline to get a coalition party to complete 4 PKS seats out of 22 seats in the 20 percent support requirements for regional head candidates. The secretary of the PKS Regional Head Selection Team also reported that it is possible that within the next one or two days there will be certainty that the new Jakarta Governor candidate will be promoted by PKS.

"Thank you for the togetherness of Mr. Anies and PKS so far in leading and building Jakarta. We pray for each other the best for Mr. Anies and PKS," said Zainudin. "Hopefully all the efforts that have been made are recorded as pious deeds for the good and progress of the beloved Indonesian nation in the future," concluded the PKS spokesman.
