Minister Of Transportation Budi Karya: Harhubnas 2024 Ajang Reflection On Transportation Services For All Matra
Minister of Transportation (Menhub) Budi Karya Sumadi said National Transportation Day (Harhubnas) 2024 will be a momentum in the reflection of services in all modes of transportation so that it can be better for sustainable development in the future.
"Harhubnas is a reflection of whether transportation services in all dimensions, both land, sea, air and rail have met the expectations of the community," said Budi Karya as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, August 8.
He conveyed that Harhubnas is a momentum to remind the importance of the transportation function mandated to the Ministry of Transportation in sustainable national development.
Harhubnas is celebrated every September 17. This year the theme of Harhubnas is "Progressive Transportation, New Nusantara".
According to the Minister of Transportation, the theme has the meaning of the spirit of collaboration and synergy with all stakeholders in the transportation sector, the achievements of the last 10 years can be successful due to cooperation and involvement from all parties.
"That is why the theme of the 2024 Harhubnas carries 'Advanced Transportas, New Nusantara'. Together we realize more advanced transportation for a better new Indonesian country's life," said the Minister of Transportation.
The Ministry of Transportation also launched the Harhubnas logo which symbolizes a two-color graph, namely green tosca and gold. The meaning of the logo is a commitment to continue to innovate to improve transportation services throughout the archipelago and on an international scale.
Four patterns show that air, train, land and sea transportation is the main element as a transportation service. Transportation services are expected to always improve the country's economy and people who continue to advance, grow rapidly with mobility and accessibility.
The green tosca means hope for fertility and harmony in the Indonesian transportation sector. Meanwhile, the golden color is a symbol of the wealth and prosperity of the Indonesian nation which must be reflected and maintained.
The 2024 Harhubnas celebration is scheduled to be enlivened by two main activities, namely the exhibition and talk show Hub Space and the Run Hub running event.
In addition, there are various activities that also color the 2024 Harhubnas, including ceremonies, seminars and declarations of transportation safety, pilgrimages, social services, blood donations, as well as arts and sports competitions for ASN, state-owned transportation sectors and school students of the Ministry of Transportation.
