Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe EV Ready To Enter Production Line Next Year

JAKARTA - The Mercedes-AMG high-performance sub-brand is rumored to be presenting an electric version of GT 4-Door (EV) and has been caught several times by spy cameras covered with mask stickers on the car's body.

In the last spy camera catch around the European streets, the original shape of the coup is increasingly clearly visible and promises a slimmer design than the combustion engine (ICE) version.

Quoting Carscoops, Thursday, August 8, the front will adopt a closed panordinary goal like any other EV with an aggressive lighting design. The back sector looks more volatile in order to increase its aerodynamic side.

Even though it is presented in the electricity version, this car still maintains a long front hood that can accommodate engines and windshields that are more assertive than usual.

Just like today's Mercedes car, GT 4-Door EV has a flat door handle. Complementing the side, the manufacturer gives this model with light rims supported by bronze high-performance braking at the front.

The back is decorated with a number of fake components, such as artificial exhaust rooms and prototype back lights, so this element is still possible to be revised.

While more complete information is still limited, the manufacturer has confirmed that the model will use the first platform developed by Mercedes-AMG for high-performance EVs, AMG Electric Architecture (AMG.EA).

It is very likely that this car will have a high performance battery component that provides an impressive distance with an axial-flux electric motor that provides tremendous power.

It was not mentioned about the time of the inaugural launch of the EV version of GT 4-Door Coupe. However, this luxury manufacturer said it would produce a model based on the AMG.EA architecture starting in 2025 at the Sindelfingen factory, Germany or in the same place as GT 63 S E Performance assembled.
