Flood Orders, Here's How BYD Handles MPV M6 Delivery
JAKARTA - BYD Indonesia recently officially launched MPV electricity M6 at the GIIAS 2024 event, and the car received positive results with many orders.
Previously, BYD had experienced delays in sending other models that were already in Indonesia, such as Seal, Atto 3 and Dolphin, and to overcome orders that many BYDs had learned from previous experiences.
"Anyway, we have learned a lot from the condition of the first delivery (other models) whose orders are higher above expectations, for that we have taken several steps in a paperwork that have been prepared one by one and clean up," said PT BYD Motor Indonesia Head of Marketing & Communication Luther Panjaitan, when met in the Bandung area, West Java, Wednesday night, August 7.

Furthermore, he said, currently for BYD M6 itself there is a surge in orders and hopefully all delivery is in accordance with existing agendas, because BYD's governance prioritizes customer expectations.
"We have a maximum of 75 days of delivery from the purchase, and for how many units (delivery) we are still calculating orders during GIIAS and foreign dealers as well and it takes time," he explained.
Previously, he also revealed that there would be compensation provided by dealers if the delivery of units to consumers missed the promised time. He also ensured that the amount of compensation provided varied depending on the dealer.
"From the dealer level, they compensated for the refund and the amount varied," he concluded.
