The Number Of State Losses Due To The Acquisition Of PT Jembatan Nusantara By ASDP Continues To Be Calculated

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said the amount of state losses of Rp1.27 trillion due to allegations of corruption in the business cooperation process (KSU) and the acquisition of PT Jembatan Nusantara by PT ASDP Ferry Indonesia (Persero) could still change. Auditors are still carrying out calculations to get a definite number.

"The calculation is still ongoing," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika to VOI, Wednesday, August 7.

Meanwhile, based on the information collected, state losses are calculated by the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP).

Meanwhile, when asked about the possibility of total loss in the acquisition process, Tessa did not provide further comments. "It can't be concluded yet," said the spokesman with the investigator's background.

Previously reported, the KPK is currently investigating cases of corruption in business cooperation (KSU) and the acquisition of PT Jembatan Nusantara by PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero). It is suspected that there has been a state loss which allegedly reached Rp1.27 trillion and is still changing because the calculation continues.

A VOI source said this loss arose because the acquisition process for PT Jembatan Nusantara did not comply with the regulations. Reporting from a number of reports, PT ASDP purchased PT Jembatan Nusantara in February 2022 with a value of IDR 1.3 trillion.

This state-owned company then controlled 100 percent of PT Jembatan Nusantara shares with 53 ships under management. "The process (in carrying out business cooperation and acquisition, red) has no legal basis," he said

"So all acquisition rules are violated," is still quoted from the same source.

In this case, the KPK has also asked the Directorate General of Immigration at the Ministry of Law (Kemenkumham) to prevent four people from leaving the country. The details, namely HMAC, MYH, IP, and one other party is private party, A.
