Ma'ruf Amin Admits He Is Ready To Be A Peacemaker For PBNU And PKB
JAKARTA - Vice President (Vice President) Ma'ruf Amin admits that he is ready to be a savior between the Nahdlatul Ulama Executive Board (PBNU) and the National Awakening Party (PKB). This answers the plan of the PKB special committee that plans to sowan to Ma'ruf Amin to harmonize the two who are in conflict. "If their wish, I am asked to be the one who rejects, reconciles with sincerity and sincerity, I am very willing," said Ma'ruf Amin in Yogyakarta, Wednesday, August 7. The vice president said that efforts to reconcile the parties in conflict are a must because of religious orders. Moreover, Ma'ruf Amin is one of the founders of the PKB and the chairman of the PKB's first syuro board before Abdurrahman Wahid (Gus Dur). Furthermore, the Vice President emphasized that he wanted to be present as a peace between PBNU and PKB, not to trigger a new conflict. He hopes that his presence can help PBNU and PKB to find a solution. "If I ask for reconciliation, and they want to make peace, finding a solution, of course I am very ready to do that," said the Vice President.
