BMW Motorrad Austria and Vagabund Give a Retro Touch to the CE 02 Electric Motorcycle
JAKARTA - BMW Motorrad Austria has developed an extraordinary project together with Design & Makers Studio Vagabund, creating a charming retro look for the CE 02 model.
In his statement quoted from the company's website, Monday, August 5, Vagabund Moto GmbH Managing Director, Paul Brauchart, revealed that he immediately fell in love when he first saw the CE 02 at BMW Motorrad Days in Berlin.
"The CE 02 is a perfect match for us because we always try to make new breakthroughs and reinterpret existing products in our own way," said Brauchart.
He added that Vagabund defines their design approach as ‘future retro’, creating an appealing and familiar feel to the model.
“We tried to combine the original, very futuristic design with some retro nuances to give the viewer a familiar feeling,” he added.
The collaboration between BMW Motorrad and Vagabund resulted in an Austrian custom motorcycle with an impressive and unique design. This motorcycle targets the youth segment, as seen from several embedded elements, such as the integration of 'OB-4 Magic Radio' music from 'Teenage Engineering' which emphasizes the youthful and creative philosophy of this custom bike.
In addition, this motorcycle is also equipped with an electric exhaust that functions as a practical power element and visual highlight, reflecting a very sporty urban power. BMW Motorrad and Vagabund also create another attraction with the 3.6 meter high custom bike packaging, part of the overall concept that further strengthens the charm of this motorcycle.
This custom motorcycle not only offers a fresh and modern look, but also combines retro elements that provide a unique and attractive touch for automotive enthusiasts.
