Accidentally, Pekanbaru Student Hits Motorcyclist To Death Sorry
PEKANBARU - Marisa Putri (21), a Toyota Raize driver who was involved in a fatal accident in Pekanbaru admitted that he was under the influence of alcohol and ecstasy during the incident. A student at a university in Pekanbaru admitted that he accidentally hit a motorcyclist named Renti Marningsih (46) to death.
"I really accidentally hit the victim because I was unconscious. I was drunk drinking Hennessy," said Marisa Putri, Sunday, August 4.
To the victim's family, Marisa expressed her regret.
"I am very sorry for my negligence. I really accidentally hit the victim. I'm sorry," he said.
Pekanbaru Police Chief Kombes Jeki Rahmat Mustika revealed that the urine test results of the suspect Marisa Putri (21) showed positive amphetamine and methamphetamine.
"That night he was invited by his friend with the initials O and T for karaoke at Sago KTV. Arriving there, he was offered half an inex (excitation) drug by T. The three of them were on KTV until 05.00 WIB. While there he consumed alcohol and inex type drugs," said Jeki Rahmat Mustika.
At around 05.00 WIB, the suspect returned home using his blue Toyota Raize at high speed.

Arriving at the scene of the incident, Marisa did not realize that she had hit a motorcycle rider named Renti. He only found out after being reminded by an online motorcycle taxi driver.
The victim who was dragged 50 meters died at the scene due to serious head injuries. Marisa is currently being held at the Pekanbaru Police Station.
