13 Regions Of Indonesia Potentially Rain With Light Intensity Today

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that thirteen regions in Indonesia have the potential to experience light rain, Monday, August 5, 2024. BMKG forecasters Idhan Abubakar, convey that areas that have the potential to be hit by light rain intensities are Palembang, South Sumatra; Lampung; Bengkulu; Serang, Banten; Jakarta; Samarinda, East Kalimantan; and Gorontalo. "Next, Palu, Central Sulawesi; Makassar, South Sulawesi; Ternate, North Maluku; Ambon, Maluku; Merauke, Papua; and Jayapura, Papua," said Idhan.

In addition to light rain, he also said that there are three areas that have the potential to rain with moderate intensity, namely Mamuju, West Sulawesi; Sorong, Papua; and Nabire, Papua. Meanwhile, heavy rain is predicted to occur in Manado, North Sulawesi. and Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan. "For the areas of Bali and also Nusa Tenggara, Denpasar City, Mataram, and Kupang City are predicted to be cloudy," Idhan added.

Then, there is also a weather forecast regarding three areas that will be thick cloudy, namely Pekanbaru, Riau; Tanjung Pinang, Riau Islands; and Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi.
