Debt Collector's Motorbike Was Thrown By The Ojol Driver Group In Sawah Besar, Police: Misunderstanding

JAKARTA - A motorbike belonging to a debt collector or eagle eye (matel) was thrown into the river by an online motorcycle taxi group (ojol) on Jalan Gunung Sahari, Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta on Saturday, August 3, in the afternoon.

One of the witnesses, Cayut said the incident began when the ojol crowd was stopped by the debt collector group. There was an argument between the two, this also provoked the ojol driver group who was at the scene.

The debt collector group panicked when dozens of ojol diververs approached him. So that the stamps ran out of the location to avoid the tantrums of a number of ojol drivers.

Then one piece of the matel's white motorcycle was left behind at the location. Furious, the left-handed matel's motorbike was dragged by the ojol and thrown into the river.

"White Beat, I think people are dragged around, I don't know the motorbike. It fell here, there was a side police post," said Cayut, Saturday, August 3.

Meanwhile, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Sawah Besar Police, AKP Sholeh, said the matter had ended peacefully. He said the incident was caused by a misunderstanding between the two parties.

"It's just a normal misunderstanding. The point is that everything has been resolved, at the location it has immediately disbanded," said Sholeh when confirmed, Sunday, August 4.

Regarding the motorbike being thrown into the river, Sholeh explained in detail. He only confirmed that the case had been completed and had not been brought to the Sawah Besar Police Headquarters.

"It's done. It's all resolved. It's finished, it's finished, it's not taken to the police station, it's disbanded," he concluded.
