Chery Wins 1,000 SPK At GIIAS 2024, Up 75 Percent Compared To Previous Exhibitions
PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) managed to record good results during the 2024 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS). The company has collected 1,009 Vehicle Ordering Letters (SPK) for 11 days as well as set a new record during this exhibition.
Head of Brand Department of PT CSI Rifkie Setiawan, said that this achievement was better up to 75 percent compared to the previous edition as well as proof that consumers believe in the quality of Chery vehicles.
"This achievement is proof that the strategic innovation we designed is in accordance with consumer needs, and is our motivation to continue to develop following the trend of the Indonesian market," said Rifkie in his statement, Friday, August 2.
He also said that this achievement was also supported by stronger dealer and aftersales services during his existence in the country.
This extraordinary achievement is also supported by the increasing number of dealers that are already operating, as well as the availability of spare parts services, Rifkie added.

In the GIIAS 2024 event, this manufacturer from China exhibited various ranks ranging from the Tiggo series to the Omoda series. Not only that, sales growth is increasing thanks to the provision of a test drive unit so that prospective visitors can feel the Chery car firsthand.
In addition, more and more visitors visited the booth thanks to the expansion of the booth in this event. According to CSI, the booth presented has an area of 1,209 m2 or an increase of 251 percent since Chery first joined the event in 2022.
During the 11-day event, the company recorded 1,235 people having carried out test drives with a Chery car. This proves the public's enthusiasm for the brand.
In GIIAS 2024, the manufacturer launched Tiggo 8 for the Indonesian market at a price of Rp. 400 million. In addition, they also launched iCar 03 as the first off-road EV in Indonesia. Although the official price has not been disclosed, the manufacturer opens a pre-order period with a down payment (DP) of Rp. 10 million.
