The Script Will Visit Jakarta And Surabaya For Satellites World Tour Next Year

JAKARTA - The rock band from Ireland, The Script will visit two cities in Indonesia on its world tour titled Satellites World Tour. Danny O'Donoghue cs will appear in Jakarta and Surabaya next year.

Through a tour schedule uploaded on Instagram, a performance in Jakarta will be held at ICE BSD on February 14, and a performance in Surabaya will be held at the East Java Expo on February 16.

"We are very pleased to announce that the Satellites World Tour is heading to ASIA and AUSTRALIA," The Script wrote in a description of the upload, Thursday, August 1.

Apart from Indonesia, the band, which is famous for its hit entitled Breakeven, will also visit Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand.

Meanwhile, the The Script world concert tour will be held close to the release of the album 'Satellites' on August 16. This is their seventh studio album.

The tour will begin with a series of concerts in North America in August and September. Then, The Script continues to tour for the UK and Europe from November to the end of the year.

For information, The Script now consists of Danny O'Donoghue (main vocals, keyboards), Glen Power (drums, vocals), Ben totaling (guitar). Their guitarist, Mark Sheehan passed away in 2023.

Their debut album, he Script (2008), includes major hits like "The Man Who Can't Be Moved" and "Breakeven".

The Script continues success with subsequent albums, such as Science & Faith (2009) and No Sound Without Silence (2014).
