KPK Cecar Semarang Gapensi Chair And President Director Of PT Deka Sari Perkasa Regarding Procurement Of Goods And Services
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating the process of procuring goods and services in the Semarang City Government (Pemkot), Central Java which led to corruption. Two witnesses were questioned by investigators, one of whom was the Chairman of the Association of Indonesian National Construction Implementers (Gappensi) Semarang City, Martono.
"The examination was carried out at the KPK's Red and White Building on behalf of the following MTN as Director of PT Chimarder777 and PT Rama Sukses Mandiri and Chairman of the Semarang Gapensi," said KPK Spokesperson Tessa Mahardika to reporters in a written statement, Thursday, August 1.
Meanwhile, the other witnesses who were also questioned were the President Director of PT Deka Sari Perkasa, P. Rachmat Utama Djangkar (PRUD). "The investigator confirmation is all present," said Tessa.
"Investigators are exploring the knowledge concerned in the procurement of goods and services within the Semarang City Government," continued the spokesman with the investigator's background.
Meanwhile, Martono, after being examined, did not want to talk much about his examination. He said, the anti-corruption commission should explain the material asked.
"Just ask the investigators," he told reporters at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Wednesday, August 31.
On that occasion, Martono agreed to have received a notification letter for the start of the investigation (SPDP). However, he also did not want to explain it.
"(I, ed) just follow the legal process," said Martono.
Meanwhile, Rachmat Utama, through his lawyer, Arif Sulaiman, agreed to be questioned about the procurement project in Semarang City, Central Java. However, he did not specify anything.
"Yes, (related, red) projects only," said Arif when accompanying his client.

Previously reported, the KPK announced the start of the investigation of three alleged corruption crimes within the Semarang City Government (Pemkot). The details are the procurement of goods and services within the Semarang City Government in 2023-2024, the alleged extortion of civil servants related to incentives for collecting taxes and levies in the Semarang City area, as well as the alleged receipt of gratuities in 2023-2024.
Searches have been carried out in various locations such as in the cities of Semarang, Kudus, Salatiga, and others. From there, documents up to Rp1 billion and 9,650 euros were found as well as dozens of watches allegedly related to the case.
