Asian Development Tour Calendar Opener, BNI Golf Tournament Ciputra Golfpreneur Provides IDR 2.3 Billion Prize.
JAKARTA - The BNI Ciputra Golfpreneur tournament will again be part of the Asian Development Tour (ADT) calendar in 2024. The tournament, which is entering its ninth event, will again be competed at Damai Indah Golf BSD Course on August 21-24, 2024.
Since it was first held in 2014, this event has become a regular tournament, even a tournament with the most consistent implementation in ADT's competition schedule.
"We are very happy to be able to hold the BNI Ciputra Golfpreneur Tournament for the ninth time again. Since it was the first time holding this event in 2014, we have seen a series of champions who continue their progress to the Asian Tour, even one of them, Tom Kim, was able to become the champion of PGA TOUR," said Budiarsa Sastrawinata, founder and chairman of the Ciputra Golfpreneur Foundation (CGF) Board of Trustees, who is also President Director of Damai Indah Golf, quoted by Antara.
This commitment to organize is also balanced with an increase in the total prize to be contested. If in 2023 the participants compete for the US$125,000 prize, the total prize for 2024 will be US$140,000 or almost IDR 2.3 billion.
Through this event, we hope that there will be more opportunities for young Indonesian golfers to improve their abilities and achievements. This tournament is also expected to be a means of proof for young Indonesian golfers to compete at the international level," said Mucharom, Director of Human Capital & Compliance BNI.
