KPAI Supervises Legal Process Of Balita Dianiaya Case At Daycare Depok
The Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) will carry out a full escort of 2-year-old toddlers who are suspected of being abused at the Daycare child care center in Cimanggis, Depok, West Java.
KPAI Commissioner Dian Sasmita confirmed that she would provide assistance to victims. Moreover, the rights of victims to get recovery.
"The rights of victims must be fulfilled, the right of victims to recovery must also be given by the government. This is why many parties will be coordinated," said Dian when confirmed, Wednesday, July 31.
Dian also ensured that the legal process for the place of child care would continue until this case was resolved. Therefore, he will coordinate with the Depok Metro Police regarding the handling of the case.
"We make sure, first, the legal process runs, we will coordinate with law enforcement and local service institutions, in Depok," he said.

Regarding the sanctions for the place of child care, said Dian, it is not his authority. Because his party only provides assistance and supervision of the victim.
"That is not our authority. Our authority is only to carry out supervision," he said.
Previously, a 2-year-old boy was suspected of having been abused at a child care center or Daycare in the Harjamukti area, Cimanggis, Depok.
The case was revealed starting with a report by the victim's teachers who complained to his biological mother, RD.
