Demonstration At Monas, PT KAI Functions Jatinegara Station For Departure Of 6 Long-distance Trains
PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta has again set operating patterns on several long-distance trains (KAJJ) departing from Gambir Station on Wednesday, July 31.
The train, which previously did not stop at Jatinegara Station, will be stopped at Jatinegara Station. This diversion is to avoid delays in prospective passengers due to traffic jams around the road to Gambir Station due to a demonstration by the Coordinating Board for the Establishment of Cigapan Regency starting from the Istiqlal Mosque, Monas and the Horse Statue.
"At normal times, trains departing from Gambir Station do not stop at Jatinegara Station, but specifically on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, train departures between 08.00 WIB and 11.00 WIB will stop at Jatinegara Station to serve passengers," said KAI Daop 1 Jakarta Public Relations, Ixfan Hendriwintoko when confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, July 31.
The following is a list of long-distance train trips departing from Gambir Station (KA Even), and dismissed at Jatinegara Station on Wednesday, July 31.
Argo Bromo Anggrek KA 2 Gambir Surabaya Pasar Turi, departs 08.20 WIB. Argo Cheribon KA 26 Gambir Cirebon, departs 08.30 WIB. Taksaka KA 68 Gambir Yogyakarta, departs 09.20 WIB.

The arrangement of the special operating pattern is expected by customers to avoid the risk of congestion that may occur due to the diversion of traffic flow to Gambir Station and has the option to be able to depart from Jatinegara Station.
