Honda Modif Contest Is Back, The Largest Modification Celebration In The Country With A Fresher Concept

JAKARTA - PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) has again opened the largest motorcycle modification contest in the country of the Honda Modif Contest (HMC) 2024, responding to the wait for modified lovers in the country.

At this year's event, HMC comes with a fresher, contemporary concept and reaches more cities to accommodate the creativity of more than 1,300 modifiers in various segments and levels.

This year HMC will be held in 9 cities with a reshuffle of 9 main classes.

For Honda motorcycles produced over 2006, new classes are opened, namely All Sports, Matic & Cub Community Touring, Sport Community Touring, and Show Off. These four classes will accompany previously existing Matic & Cub Stock or Bolt On and Matic & Cub Advance classes. This class category is interesting with the presence of new classes such as Show Off which accommodate participants who want to present their work without restrictions on creative ideas.

For Honda motorcycles in production before 2006, open the All Stock & Advance class. HMC 2024 also provides an opportunity for Honda motorcycles from all over the production year through a new class, namely Racing Style for modeifiers who like the racing modification genre. This new class will accompany the prestigious Free For All class for all categories of skutik, cub, and Honda sports.

General Manager Marketing Planning and Analysis AHM Andy Wijaya said, this event is entering the age of a decade and is getting more special. Especially the presence of new classes according to the latest modification trend, to the wider distribution of cities.

Through this event, we are committed to continuing to accommodate the country's talented talents to realize Honda motorcycles according to their dreams and lifestyles," he said, in a press release, Wednesday, July 31.

In addition to the 9 main classes, there are also special achievements categories this year that explore Matic Besar Honda, namely Honda PCX160 and Honda ADV160. The public's great interest in expressing their creative ideas on 160cc Honda, which is watched by AHM through Best PCX160 and Best ADV160 classes. These two classes will complement other special achievements classes such as Best Fashion, Best Fun Community Competition, Best Media Pick, and Best Regional Series. The excitement of all classes in the HMC 2024 will accommodate the hobby of modified lovers for daily activities to more complex modifications in Medan, Pekanbaru, Bandung, Surabaya, Denpasar, Banjarmasin, Samarinda, Manado, and also Makassar.

The winners from 9 main classes in each region will meet and compete with creativity in the HMC final contest to compete for the opportunity to participate in the Honda Dream Ride Project. HMC is a structured modification event and is awaited by modifiers, using Honda motorcycles with special assistance from the best mentors in Indonesia to sharpen their competence and modified experience.

The determination of the overall winner of HMC will involve competent judges who are experienced in the field of modification. They are professional builders who have long been active in the world of modification in the country.
