Superman Filming Completed, James Gunn Announces Release Date
JAKARTA - The production of James Gunn's latest film, Superman, has been completed on Tuesday, July 30. This news was shared directly by the director through his social media.
"And it's over. God bless our players and crew who are committed to bringing creativity and hard work to this project. I make films about good men in a world that is not always good," wrote James Gunn.
"And the kindness and love that I encounter in my daily life inspires me and makes me keep going when I feel like I'm walking alone," Gunn said.

Superman: Legacy stars David Corenswet as Man of Steel. In addition, this film also stars Rachel Brosnahan, Skyr Gisondo, Anthony Carrigan, Edi Gathegi, Nathan Fillion, Badminton Merced and others.

Initially, Superman's role was given to Henry Cavill and featured it on the final credit for the 2022 film Black Adam.
However, when James Gunn and Peter Safran were appointed DC leaders and planned to reboot DC, they announced they would change Superman's cast. David Corenswet was chosen to play Superman's new role.
James Gunn also confirmed that the Superman film will hit theaters starting July 11, 2025.
