Bonge Specialist Of Helem Thieves In Pondok Aren, Often Sells Stolen Goods Under The Kebayoran Lama Flyover

TANGERANG - Angga Daemawan alias Bonge, was arrested on suspicion of theft by residents in the Pondok Aren area, South Tangerang.

The Head of Pondok Aren Police, Kompol Bambang Askar Sodiq, explained that the incident was revealed from public reports related to the theft of helems in a number of areas. On that basis, his party conducted an investigation and collected a number of evidences.

From the CCTV footage and the characteristics of the perpetrators, the Pondok Aren Police Criminal Investigation Team conducted an investigation into the whereabouts of the perpetrators.

"And on Monday, July 29, 2024, at around 21.00 WIB, the perpetrator was successfully secured at his current residence in boarding houses," Bambang said in his statement, Tuesday, July 30.

In addition to arresting the perpetrators, his party also found a black-and-white Yamaha Xeon B-6739-BIB motorcycle and a black Cargloss helem.

"Then after that the perpetrator and the evidence were secured and taken to the Pondok Aren Police for further investigation," said Kompol Bambang.

Bambang said the helems he had stolen had been sold in the stall of buying and selling used goods under the Kebayoran Lama flyover for Rp. 80,000. The perpetrator admitted that the proceeds from the sale were used for daily needs.

Furthermore, according to the perpetrator's statement, from the beginning of July until now he has committed theft of helems 18 times, including tends to be in the Pondok Aren area and parts of the Ciledug area.

It didn't stop there, from the results of the police investigation, it was revealed that the AD perpetrator also admitted to consuming methamphetamine.
