Cassation Rejected, Maluku Islamic Sirisori Village Head Convicted Of Corruption Village Funds Thrown Into Prison
JAKARTA - Convict Edy Pattisahusiwa in the 2018-2019 Village Fund corruption case in the Islamic Sirisori Country in East Saparua District, Central Maluku Regency, Maluku was executed in Ambon Prison.

According to him, the results of the Supreme Court's decision Number 4948 K/Pid.Sus/2023 stated that they rejected the appeal from the defendant.
The Public Prosecutor's Branch of the Ambon District Attorney's Office in Saparua (Malteng) then carried out the Ambon District Court's decision Number: 38/Pid.Sus TPK/2022/PN.Amb dated March 13, 2023 in conjunction with the Ambon High Court Decision Number: 6/PID.SUS-TPK/2023/PT.AMB dated May 8, 2023 in conjunction with Supreme Court Decision Number: 4948 K/Pid.Sus/2023 dated October 5, 2023.
The person concerned was charged with Article 3 in conjunction with Article 18 of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Corruption in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st in conjunction with Article 64 Paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code.

Furthermore, the convict will be sentenced to five years in prison and a fine of Rp. 200 million, subsidiary to two months in prison and compensation of Rp. 581,826,060 which was reduced by the return of state financial losses of Rp. 11,500,000.
If the replacement money is not paid no later than one month after this decision has permanent legal force, then his property will be confiscated and auctioned off by the prosecutor to cover the replacement money provided that if the defendant does not have sufficient property, he will be sentenced to one year in prison.
