Supporting Women's Presidential Candidates, US White Celebrities Gather Rp62 Billion For Kamala Against Trump

JAKARTA - A number of white United States (US) celebrities raised funds of US$4 million or around Rp65 billion to support presidential candidates in the 2024 US Presidential Election.

The funds were successfully collected in the Zoom online application calling forum which was attended by 180,000 participants. Many white US celebrities were involved in the event initiated by the Democratic Party's affiliated organization.

For nearly 3 hours and 30 minutes Zoom's call, the event committee said it had sold more than 5,700 'White Dude for Harris' hats which resulted in being donated to Kamala.

"Throughout the history of America, when white people organize, often with pointed hats," said one of the event's organizers, Ross Morales Rocketto, quoted by NBC News, Tuesday, July 30.

One of the celebrities involved, Jeff Bridges, the film's star The Big Total, said he was happy with the results of the co-white meeting forum.

"I'm eligible, man! I'm white, I'm a man, and I support Harris," Bridges said.

"A female president, man, really exciting!" he continued.

The Zoom Forum was also attended by a number of figures who entered the candidate exchange for vice president accompanying Kalama, US Transport Secretary Pete Buttigieg; Minnesota Governor Tim Walz; Illinois Governor JB Pritzker; and North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper.

"The atmosphere is extraordinary," said Buttigieg.

Previously, the Walz Team, whose name was the most successful in the Kamala companion exchange in recent days, positively welcomed Harris' idea of defeating presidential candidate Donald Trump.

"For the guy to wake up afterwards and know that a black woman kicked him and sent him to the street and you know that it was something that the man had to go through for the rest of his life," Walz said while appearing on one US TV.

In addition to the name that has been mentioned, Kamala Harris is also supported by the head of infrastructure for the White House Mitch Landrieu, Rep. Adam Schiff from California, former Senator Doug Jones from Alabama, and Rep. Steny Hoyer from Maryland.

They promised 50 thousand US dollars in support for Kamala to navigate the 2024 US Presidential Election
